It’s been a while since my last upload, but no worries, this bibliophile is never forgetting to scour bookstores for amazing new titles. 🙂 If there’s some sort of job related to book hunting, I might as well have it with whatever skills I try to employ every time I visit bookstores, haha
I don’t have a new book review to write yet–things have been busy for me lately, which is a good sign, so I hope you don’t mind if I share my recent book haul instead.
I promise you there are more titles I want to purchase right there and then, and it’s a tough decision choosing which ones to keep and which ones to return to their shelves. For some reason, there are so many interesting titles at FullyBooked BGC when I visited, unlike from a couple of months ago when even after staying for an hour browsing through shelves, I still haven’t found anything I want to bring home with me. This most recent trip had me picking up as many titles as I could, but in the end, managed to buy only what my budget allowed.
Here are the titles I purchased:
- Undercover Bromance (Bromance Book Club, #2) by Lyssa Kay Adams
- Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
- Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting
- Life’s Too Short (The Friend Zone, #3) by Abby Jimenez
- You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle
- Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle
Well, to be completely honest, the only I doubted buying is Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting because I would have preferred getting my Christina Lauren fix (this time it’s The Holidaze). Unfortunately, since The Holidaze was released years ago, the remaining store copies are already somehow faded and battered. And there’s no price decrease even in such cases, so I decided to get Helena Hunting, which is more recent and with pages that have not started tanning.
As for the Bromance Book Club series, I am doing my best to complete the collection. It’s crazy because the stocks are fluctuating–one moment there’s a copy online, then gone the next. And then when you visit the store, you magically spot another copy. I’m really not sure how they store or organize their stocks, but I guess as long as they restock then I’m happy.
Oh well, that’s it for me. At the moment, I’m reading an ebook, but I’m going over it oh-so-slowly because I am also doing my Japanese language review on the side.
I hope you’re doing well. See you on the next one!
